Just for the record:

I hate getting into an elevator with anyone wearing cologne or perfume. Even if he or she is lacking the appropos exposed chest and gold chains associated with their potency. The fact that they broadcast their scent regardless of favor is a violation of my senses. They might as well rub their crotch in my face to further announce their sexuality.

To me someone’s scent is something intimate that should only be shared when you are close to them; when they are invited into your close personal space, whether in an intimate embrace or a casual hug. This familiarity should be a decision based on trust and a desire to be closer to a person; a willingness to accept their scent and breathe them into your being. It is not something to be forced upon anyone within a 5-foot radius.

I find this lack of regard in a person, ignorant, insensitive and alarming.

Not a good way to start my work week. Yuk.
